What to put on an invoice
- Your name or business name and contact details, and your tax ID if you have one.
- The client's name and address.
- A unique invoice number (INV-001, INV-002 and so on, never reused) and the issue date.
- What you did, with quantities and rates, and the total.
- When payment is due and how to pay: bank details, IBAN or a payment link.
Some countries require more, such as the client's VAT number or a note about reverse charge. In some, a valid invoice must be issued electronically through the tax authority or in a structured format (for example CFDI in Mexico, or e-invoicing between businesses in Germany and France); a PDF from this page does not replace that. Check the rules where you are registered.

No. Everything stays in your browser. If you tick "Remember my details", your name and details are kept in this browser only, so they are there next time.
How do I get a PDF?
Press "Download PDF / Print" and choose "Save as PDF" as the printer.
Can I add tax or VAT?
Yes. Enter a tax rate and a name for it, such as VAT or GST; the tax is added to the total.
